POSITION: Our growing studio in Olney is looking for an experienced Assistant Sales and Member Relations Manager to assist with new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio and booking them into Intro Classes, contact potential clients, help drive Membership sales and overall studio revenue, confirm attendance for classes, and partake in the day to day operations of the studio. The Assistant Sales and Member Relations Manager also assists with retaining current members. The right candidate is comfortable contacting leads on the phone and face to face. Candidates MUST have a sales background and experience in the fitness industry is strongly desired. A passion for Pilates is an extra bonus!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have absolute minimum of 2 years of experience selling Fitness/Health Lifestyle Memberships or a similar type of membership-based sales
• Must be able to work flexible schedule to include mix of weekdays and weekday evenings; along with one weekend day each week
• Able to make speak clearly and confidently to clients and colleagues
• Knowledge and regular use of Social Media i.e., Facebook, Instagram, Google+
• Passion for retail sales and member retail engagement
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized
• Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required
• Sales goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training
• Must have proficient computer skills and ability to learn and use the studio software system
• Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fully execute and manage the sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close
• Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual’s needs and wants
• Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production
• Emphasize and enforce objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness provider
• Promote the studio on social media channels
• Sell retail products to members and learn ordering history for ongoing procurement
• Present available services to current or prospective members
• Ensure the facilities and equipment are clean and maintained
• Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota
• Participate in special events (health fairs, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the club
• Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills
• Other duties as assigned

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
